INGRADIENTS
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/4 cup cold water or milk
- A bit of butter (to grease)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
PREPARATION
- Add the eggs to a mixing bowl. Beat well.
- Add the sugar and beat very well.
- Add the cold water and baking powder. Beat.
- Add the self-rising flour slowly to the egg mixture and beat until smooth.
- Add butter to the cake pan and then pour into a greased angel food cake pan.
- Bake at 375ºF/190ºC for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Check to see if the cake is done by gently touching with your finger. It will spring back and look golden. Bake a few more minutes, if the cake is not done.
- Cool 15 to 20 minutes before removing cake from the angel food cake pan.
